Base Camp Leasing has a 158-acre hunting lease available in Chautauqua County, New York. This hunting lease is in WMU (9K) and close to Forestville. Buffalo is about 49 miles away. There are about 50 acres of woods, 30 acres of fenced in cow pasture, and the rest is combination of crop fields and golden rod fields. The landowner stated the property has had some nice bucks and bear shot on it in the past. There are really nice established trails around the property to include in the woods.The bucks already have left a few new rubs on the hunting lease (see pics). Bear and deer sightings are frequent. This hunting also comes with the use of a cabin (see pics) that has a wood stove and outhouse. You will have to bring your own air mattress or bedroll. No electric has a wood stove for heat. You would also need to bring your own water. The golden rod overgrown fields are full of deer beds. There is also a very nice B&B close by the property you rent. There are some nice deer trails. This hunting lease has a small stream running through the woods creating a nice bottom and stand locations. ATV and camping are allowed for hunting purposes only. If bringing a camper must be removed at end of deer season. The area is known for a great deer herd and some big bucks! This property should provide excellent deer, bear and turkey hunting.
